The Csík zenekar (Csík Band), which plays traditional peasant folk music, was formed in Hungary, Kecskemét in 1988. „During the years past, we have composed and performed Hungarian folk music & our band became more & more popular regarding the innumerable successful concerts & dance-houses organized in Hungary & abroad. As a recognition of the professional community, the Csík Band recieved the title "The Young Master of Folk Art" in 1991.
